Preet Kaur is a highly motivated and dedicated nursing professional with a strong passion for education and teaching. With a career spanning various healthcare settings, Preet has developed a wealth of experience and expertise in nursing practice, education, and leadership. Preet hold a Bachelor of Nursing from La Trobe University. She has also pursued additional qualifications, including a Nurse Immunizer and a Certificate IV in Training & Assessment. Throughout her career, Preet has held key roles such as Registered Nurse at Aged Care and Western Health, where she demonstrated her commitment to providing high-quality, person-cantered care to patients. She has also gained valuable experience as a Nursing Educator at the Institute of Health and Nursing Australia (IHNA) in Melbourne, where she has been instrumental in shaping the next generation of nurses. In this role, Preet has excelled in creating inclusive learning environments, delivering engaging educational activities, and providing dedicated support to students from diverse backgrounds. Preet's professional experience encompasses a wide range of responsibilities, including preceptorship for nursing students, conducting competency reviews, delivering in-service training, and participating in quality improvement projects. She has demonstrated proficiency in clinical skills such as wound care, catheterization, and venipuncture, along with a strong understanding of regulatory and ethical considerations in healthcare. With her exceptional interpersonal skills, clinical expertise, and passion for teaching, Preet is dedicated to inspiring and mentoring aspiring nurses while promoting excellence in nursing education.
